Treasure Hunt Competition Terms & Conditions

Overview: Enter our competition for a chance to win a custom engagement ring valued at up to R30,000.00* starting on 6 October 2024

1. Prize conditions:

  • The prize is a custom engagement ring with a total value of R30,000.00*.
  • The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, vouchers, or any other design available on the EverJade Jewellery website.
  • The ring will be crafted from 9ct yellow, rose, or white gold. Please provide the correct finger size. Resizing will incur an additional cost.
  • The centre stone will be selected within the prize budget and may include natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, or gemstones. Any additional stones or side stones will also count towards the total prize value.
  • The winner will receive an online consultation with Jade van Heerden to guide the custom design process, limited to the prize value of R30,000.00*.
  • EverJade Jewellery is not responsible for wear, tear, or repairs. Any maintenance or repairs will be charged separately.
  • Shipping costs are not included and will be the responsibility of the winner. 
  • The prize must be claimed within 1 week from the date of the winner announcement, 4 November 2024. If the winner fails to claim their prize in this period, EverJade Jewellery reserves the right to choose an alternate winner.
  • The design process must begin within 2 weeks of prize acceptance.

2. Winner Announcement:

The winner will be announced after the competition ends on 31 October and must complete the following steps and answer the questions within the allocated time.

3. How to Enter:

  1. Share the EverJade Jewellery page in your story.
  2. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook.
  3. Tag three friends in the comments.
  4. Complete the treasure hunt on our website and send the your answers via DM. There are four tasks:

  • Competitors need to give the answer of how many they find.

4. Eligibility:

  • Employees of EverJade Jewellery, their immediate family members and close friends, and anyone professionally connected to the competition are not eligible to enter.
  • The prize winner must be a resident of South Africa.

5. Cheating Clause:

Any form of cheating, including but not limited to using automated tools, sharing answers, or manipulating the entry process, will result in immediate disqualification from the competition. EverJade Jewellery reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these rules. The decision of EverJade Jewellery is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding disqualification.

6. Entry Limitations:

  • Each participant may enter the competition once. Multiple entries will be disqualified.

7. Modification and cancellation:

  • EverJade Jewellery reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

8. Use of Personal Information:

  • By entering the competition, participants agree to provide their personal information, which will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting the winner.

9. Publicity:

  • The winner may be required to participate in reasonable promotional activities related to the competition, including allowing their name and image to be used on EverJade Jewellery’s social media channels and website.

10. Liability:

  • EverJade Jewellery will not be responsible for any technical issues, delays, or failures that impact entry into the competition, nor any damage or loss resulting from participation or prize use.

11. Non-Transferability:

  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be substituted for any other prize or reward.

12. When will I get my prize: 

    The delivery of the prize will depend on how quickly the design process is finalised after the consultation. Please note that the jewellery supply and manufacturing industry closes over the December holidays, so you can expect to receive your prize in early 2025.
